Why the Oil Industry?
When you joined the military, you helped maintain the freedoms most Americans take for granted. Although you were free to chose any other way of life, you selected a challenging and patriotic career that reinforced the importance of strong moral values. You learned valuable technical skills and practiced them in a fast-paced, often times dangerous, work environment around the world. Rewarding years later, you are ready for a new career.
Energy drives everything we do. The fossil fuels once so readily available are now more difficult to find. World events and changing consumer habits have made resources scarce and expensive. If you want to apply all the technical and leadership skills you refined in the military, the energy industry will provide you work that is both challenging and highly rewarding. Like the military, the energy industry leverages technology extensively but ultimately depends on good people to make it work.
