Differentiation
What exactly does Team Trident do?
Team Trident is a specialist recruitment and staffing agency focused on providing skilled personnel to the offshore fossil fuel and renewable energy sectors and competent trades to the US shipbuilding sector. We source, vet, and mobilize highly skilled and fully qualified personnel for subsea construction, geoseismic, inspection, survey, and intervention projects across the Western Hemisphere.
What makes Team Trident different than other personnel agencies?
We go to great lengths to source and fully vet our people. We ensure they actually have the requisite technical skills, operational experience, and POWER SKILLS (e.g. great attitude, work ethic, strong core values, dependability/responsibility) before our customers see them. We then track their performance after each hitch to ensure they consistently add value to your team. Our internal staff becomes an extension of your team and works diligently to enhance your operations 24/7/365 with great personnel.
Where does Team Trident source it's personnel?
We focus on our customers’ requirements first and always. However, for many of the technical roles we fill, the US armed forces continues to be a great resource that we have a very deep understanding of for skilled commercial labor. We select accomplished Sailors, Soldiers, and Marines who have a proven track record of exceptional performance in remote parts of the world and screen them for attitude and aptitude for the roles their technical skills fit best.
Can Team Trident provide local content outside the United States?
Yes. We have strong ties to joint venture partners in Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana, and Brazil and are able to provide our customers with local, competent talent for offshore projects and remain fully compliant with local labor laws and revenue authorities. All our personnel outside the US fall under the same exacting induction, training, competence, and appraisal regimen that our US personnel have to abide by.
Mobilization & Deployment
How quickly can you mobilize personnel?
For planned rotations, we typically confirm personnel within 48–72 hours of receiving a complete job brief. Mobilization speed depends on location, visa requirements, and flag-state considerations — contact us with your timeline, and we’ll give you an honest answer fast. Our operations team is available to handle requests 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Can you supply personnel for back-to-back rotations across multi-month campaigns?
Absolutely. We have done this multiple times over the years in business. We specialize in managing long-duration campaigns with seamless rotation scheduling — 28/28, 21/21, or any custom rotation patterns. We track hitch schedules, plan replacements in advance, and ensure personnel handovers are coordinated with your offshore so operational continuity is never at risk.
Compliance
Can Team Trident personnel meet our company's vendor qualification requirements?
Yes. We work with each client’s specific competency matrices, pre-qualification requirements, and HSEQ standards from day one. Whether your requirement is built on IMCA guidelines, a custom operator competency framework, or a Tier 1 contractor’s internal standards, we align our personnel profiles and documentation packages to match before mobilization. Our Learning Management System (LMS) allows us to keep up with survival training and medical requirements for hundreds of personnel on our roster so that our team is always prepared to deploy where you need us. Furthermore, we are connected to our customers through ISNetworld and Avetta for reporting purposes.
How does Team Trident manage industry drug and alcohol requirements?
Team Trident is registered with DISA, and all our personnel are subject to pre-mobilization drug and alcohol screening in compliance with applicable offshore operator standards. Random and post-incident testing compliance is also maintained. Compliance is provided to customers via ISNetworld whenever requested.
Does Team Trident carry requisite liability insurance and provide indemnity agreements?
Yes. Team Trident maintains comprehensive employer’s liability, professional indemnity, and public liability insurance. Our standard contract includes mutual hold harmless and knock-for-knock indemnity provisions consistent with the recognized standards in the offshore industry. Client-specific contract requirements can be reviewed and accommodated, and a Certificate of Insurance is kept up to date and provided to every customer we provide services to.
Can you provide CVs / Resumes, Project History, current training and competency certificates for client approval?
Yes — and we recommend it. We routinely provide full personnel packages, including standardized CVs, competency records, certification copies, IMCA grades, and experience summaries for client review and approval before any mobilization order is issued when requested. We build this step into every campaign workflow as standard practice. Our internal system allows us to have the latest information on our personnel at our fingertips every time there is an update or change.
Commercials & Contracting
How is pricing structured?
For direct placement, we bill a competitive percentage of a placement’s annual base salary and provide replacement guarantees. We provide discounts based on volume, responsiveness of a customer’s internal process, and other key relational criteria.
For all staffing projects, a rate sheet with pre-approved pricing per position and competency level of personnel is provided during the terms and conditions phase and a detailed proposal is provided before every project to ensure maximum alignment with our clients and transparency.
How are travel, lodging, and other costs handled by Team Trident?
For staffing services offshore, our day rates cover the personnel cost and our placement services. Travel, accommodation (when not provided on the vessel), per diem, and visa costs are handled transparently and invoiced at cost or pre-agreed rates — never marked up without your knowledge. A full commercial breakdown is provided before any contract is signed.
Do you offer preferred supplier or framework agreements for repeat clients?
Yes. For survey companies, vessel operators, and offshore contractors with recurring crewing needs, we offer Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and preferred supplier frameworks. These provide rate certainty, mobilization priority, and a streamlined approval process — ideal for clients managing multiple vessels or continuous campaign schedules.
